As a 3rd-year student at Sciences Po Toulouse (France), I have the opportunity to spend the whole year interning abroad. It is a fantastic way to give shape to my profesional projects - working for international NGOs - and to be useful towards those who are in need. I decided to intern with Kids for Tomorrow in the USA, and then with Doctors of the World in Argentina. When I was volunteering in an orphanage for blind children in China last summer, I clearly saw that education is the key to open the doors of a brighter future. Indeed, education gives children the possibility to overcome their disabilities and disadvantages – whatever they are - and to live a life far better from everything they could have ever dreamed of. As Kids for Tomorrow, I do believe that wherever education is improved, poverty declines.
