Sewa Junior Academy is a small school in the village of Matopeni in Kayole which is a slum of Nairobi, Kenya. There are 118 attending students with five teachers. From baby class through 5th grade, Our project is to get each child attending this school sponsored which will provide funding for books, school supplies, uniforms, and school fees. We are also supporting the school through a grant opportunity that will help them pay for the teachers salaries, supplies for the school, water, food, and rent. Sewa Junior Academy has created revenue generating business with community members to bring in funding to the school. The currently have a health clinic, and a beauty salon that bring in some funding each month.
